Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts that sometimes struggle. Being officers’ wives isn’t always easy, and we need Your strength to love well when it’s challenging.
Lord, thank You for loving us first. Your Word reminds us, “We love each other because He loved us first” (1 John 4:19). When our officers come home with the weight of their shifts—when they’re distant, frustrated, or harsh—help us remember how You loved us even when we were far from lovable.
Father, when pride creates walls between us, soften our hearts. When their experiences make them closed off, give us patience. God, You loved us “even while we were still sinners” (Romans 5:8). Help us extend that same grace to our husbands.
Fill us with Your supernatural love that “is patient and kind… not jealous or boastful or proud or rude” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). When we’re tempted to react with frustration, interrupt our thoughts with Your gentle reminder that You see our officers’ burdens, even when we cannot.
Lord, transform our perspectives. Let us see our officers through Your eyes—as Your beloved children who carry heavy responsibilities. Give us wisdom to know when to speak and when to listen.
Thank You for entrusting us with this calling as police wives. Help us to love our officers as a reflection of Your unfailing love for us all.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
